8 3/4 posi question

Will any posi fit in any carrier? or are there specific posi's for specific carriers? Thanks

Hmmmm ... I was not aware of any Generous Motors part being able to fit in a 741, 742 or 489 case !

8 3/4 SURE GRIP will fit any 8 3/4 case. Just use the side bearings for the sure grip unit. The outer diameter of the bearing races is the same but the cine inner diameter different.
GM posi's will not fit.

Yeah its a tuff croud here on sure grips and posi's. But actually back in the day, evrything was a posi in hotrod talk on the street. This was in the 60's and 70's, even the 80's. But at least they answered your question for you
