596 casting SB heads

Would these heads be the same as 308? or will these heads be right before the 308s where used on the 360?

I think i found my answer, if this isnt right let me know, the 596 heads isnt a swirl flow head like the 308? right?
and the 596 where used on HP 318 and 360 trucks.
