70 340 duster vin. Help. - 09/25/09 02:57 AM

What would be the numbers or letters to show if a 70 duster is a real 340 car. I will be looking at one in a few days and need to know. Thanks, Chris.

You should check the body numbers to make sure they match also. Look at the radiator support & rear package tray.

Best of luck!

thanks for the ideas, ive got it all written down so i wont forget. Its a roller(no motor or trans) v8 4spd car for cheap that needs some body work...might just use it for parts if i get it, unless its a 340 car of course.
Did 340 cars come with power disc brakes? Sorry to keep bugging you haha.

Yes, all 1970 340 Duster came with Kelsey-Hayes 4 piston disc brakes as part of the 340 Package. Manual Disc would of been standard equipment. Power Disc would be an option.

Good luck! Love them Duster..
