Surely Mopar Performance does. I think it's 280 duration .474 lift. Comp has something similar in the Purple Plus line. Or just call Racer Brown and tell Jim what you want.

I believe they were 484 lift and 284 duration.

Old Street Hemi grind was cam # was P3690214,284/470.The 284/484 was the next step up.Looking for one myself.Have the 284/470 in the bird since 92,one of the best cam's I ever used.Still there after 17yrs.

The original one was P3690214, 284 advertised duration .471 intake, .474 exhaust on 108.
In 1983 it was replaced by P4286631, 280 duration .474 lift, straight pattern on 110. The idea was to improve both idle quality and power.
In 1989, P4286631 was replaced by P4452993 which has identical specs, and the 993 is still a good part number today.
It's still a good street cam for a near stock 440, the best thing about it is not finicky about gear and converter. Also works well with low compression.

So the 280 .474 lift will work just as well? I had thought it was similar but I knew the original hemi grind specs were different.
Would this cam work alright with stock stall and 3.23 or 3.55 gears? It seems a little too big to me.
I'll be in a '68 440, with headers and an Eddy Performer RPM, 800 with vaccuum secondaries.

The 474 cam will work with stock converter, but will work much nicer with higher stall converter.

The .280-.474 would work better advanced 2-4 degrees. If you want MP the 272-.455 would probably work better.

Both the .474 and .484/284 will want a higher stall than stock. A better cam for a stock convertor'd car is the new Comp Cams .525" lift 231* duration at 50...HL275 or something. This cam works super well with 3.23 gears and stock convertor. We have broken 3 posi units and one drive shaft with it already in our street car. I wouldn't recomend it if we hadn't run it in a bunch of cars and had it outperform eveything else in a nearly stock application.

I run the 4452993 cam in my charger. 2800 converter block zero decked with SRP flat tops, true 10:1, 346 heads with 2.14/1.81 valves. bowls and short turns blended.
with 1 3/4" headers, 3.55 gears and huge diameter hoosier quick times, I ran a 13.1 @ 105. Didn't to any tuning at all really. that was with an edelbrock eps750 carb, box stock.
I am now running street tires, mighty demon 750, 3.91's, and stock HP manifolds. haven't been to the track though.

Street Hemi Grind cam is a real good one to use.Still using the old one that Dad bought in 1972 in the 383 Road Runner, only cam we ran in that car and went 12.26 in Atlanta with the usual bolt ons and 4.88's with a 4-speed.After I got the car,I put in 3.23's and used the OEM 585 cfm Holley and stock 666 intake and the car ran very well with it.I'm going to stil use the same cam when I finish restoring the car later this year.

floating back this thread... what's the spec at .050 ? on both "Hemi grind" cams old, ( 284/471-474, 108 ) and new ( 280/474, 110 ). I know the newer is rated on manuals as 238 what aparently is really closer to 234 and not 238, as somebody measured sometime ago.
will be nice to get CERTAIN MEASURED SPECS and not simply especulations
