440 Source stroker kit?

OK, i tried to post this once. what are your thoughts on the 440source stroker kit? am i better off doing a scavenger hunt to find the 440 crank and rods that i need and getting the ross stroker pistons, or get the kit from 440source and call it a day?

Do a search here on the 440 Source kits. Tons of folks using them. Most are very happy although there are a handful of bashers. Take the kit to reputable machine shop and go racing.

I agree with Tom_440 100%. 440 source sells a great product at a great price. Just like a good carpenter told me once, "measure twice cut once", just have a good hiperformance machine shop look every thing over. I've used 18 of there kits now, there in every thing from a dump truck, crane , motorhome to race cars. I'm 100% happy. That being said, there will be a handfull of bashers on here trashing them out.

I'm happy with my 440Source kit.

if you're a die hard, buy American, boycott anything Chinese, then don't bother though. a lot of their parts are made in China.

i'm also looking at stroker kits. checked out 440 source now i'm looking at hughes engines. found my cam is to small.
