Brake Booster removal question?

Brake Booster removal question? - 09/03/09 10:09 PM

I just got done pulling the Core Brake Boostetr out of my 72 Town and Country wagon.

It was the first one I have ever done and I cant tell you it was any fun. Wow what a pain in the ribs, and back and neck and arms...You pretty much had to be a contorsionist. I know Air tools would have made it easier, but I do it the old(hard) way without air.

So was I just making it hard on myself,or are these boosters actually that much of a pain. The fasteners were pretty simple to remove...Once you could get at them.

Maybe its because it was the first time I did one,I am hoping the R&R for the new one on my 72 Fury wagon will go a little more smoothly.

I do it the hard way myself,I find it easier to remove the seat,I AM OLDER AND FATTER IN THE MIDDLE NOW DAYS...

same on the trucks also

I find a long extetion and a swivel/socket and that helps

Well the one I pulled out was in a parts car,and I thought that I should move the seat back. Then it hit me. Theres no moving the seat on this car as the seat was power.
