70 Cuda paint quesiton - 08/24/09 05:08 AM

My 1970 Barracuda rear panel (where the tail lights and license plate is at) has gotten worn, (and suffered from some gas spillage) and I was wondering what the correct paint for it is and where I can get it some (if available).
Does anyone know if it is gas proof or how to make it so?
Thanks

It's called "orangesol". It's a slightly textured flat blackish looking paint with a slight grayish hue, it looks a little more gray here than it actually is because of the light. It is available out there. You could give Resto Rick a call and see what he suggests as far as paint code and sources. He's a board sponsor and a good man. Here's a nice pic someone left on the web...

The reason that one looks too grey is because it is not organisol, it is argent.
