727 clutch pack problem?

ihave a 727 in my 65 coronet that has a rear clutch pack seized together.Has anyone ever torn one apart and fixed the problem thierselves. THe car wants to go forward no matter where the gear selector is located. any imfo appreiciated

It's prbably a broken return spring. Pull the trans apart and pull the foward cluth apart and repair it. Or replace it, depending.

Drives forward in reveres too??

which way do the clutches come out? are they behind the pump or do i goin from the other end any help appreciated
