What was this second fender tag for. All that is stamped in it is 1 A X ...anyone know what it means? '71 Abody Demon 340, 4 spd car.

That is a fender tag, not a VIN tag...
Think the second one was used as it went down the line for something... sure others (Barry?) will know for sure
