Early A lower steering column jacket/seal

Anyone make a home made lower steering column jacket/seat for an early 63-66 a body?
I cannot justify the 40+$ they want for a new one!
any ideas would be great

I'd take whats left of your old one out to home depot or a plumbing store & see if you can get a close match or something that you can cut into a close enough match
