Will the roof from a 72 satellite work on a 71 charger?

Friend needs a roof for his 71 charger. I have a perfect 72 satellite roof. I heard the roofs are the same to the factory seams???

Difference in quarter glass is in the quarters.

i am not saying it won't work but aren't the drip rails a little different between the 2 cars? i think the charger is a bit longer and curved at the end more.
other than that they should be the same.

Yes, the roof skin is the same. The drip rails (which are not part of the skin)are different as stated but are a whole separate piece. just fillet that off when you drill the spot welds. 71-74 B-body 2 doors all share the same roof skin.

Yep.
71/2 Charger and 73/4 Satellite have the same drips. Same goes the other way. 71/2 Sat and 73/4 Charger are the same.
