Flywheel part number ID ? - 06/29/08 12:46 AM

Would anyone happen to know what a 2264598 flywheel is?

I thought I had a site with all the flywheel part numbers on it, but must have been wrong

Thanks

As long as it has the machined hole for the pilot bearing, that's it, as far as I know?

As for a pic, it looks like a flywheel, but with that part number on the back (have to dig out the camera in other words..)

That casting number was used on all flywheels from 62 to 72.

Actually it was used up into the nineties.

It's the common 130 tooth flywheel used on BB and SB engines starting in '62, some have external balancing drillings/scallops for use on cast crank motors and heavy rod BB's.

Thanks John

This one has no scallops, etc on it, so would be for a steel crank engine I assume then?
