Holley Carb Question - 06/27/08 01:00 AM
Are power valves used on the secondary side of Holleys? A friend has a 750 vacuum secondary with a metering block. Although there was one in it, I can't find any tech info which lists PV's in the secondary side. What's the story?

sounds like someone replaced the metering PLATE with the block (its often done)and installed the PV.

The original 3310 ( -1 suffix, I think, 780 cfm) came with primary and secondary metering blocks, with 8.5 and 10.5 valves respectively. This was also the BB Chevy configuration.

the vacuum secondary ones, old style anyway did not have pv in the secondary side.
you usually find a plate there with a recess that isn't cut all the way through that looks like a pv could go there, but there was not.

Leigh is correct. I just checked the list and it did note that the 3310-1 is a 780cfm unit with 72/76 jets and a 025 nozzle. It showed under "PV" to see notes #12 & 13. #12 shows a 8.5 secondary pv and #13 note shows a 10.5 primary pv. I found this info on page #1 of the Holley part number listings (which I can't get attached to this response).
Edit:
I made a two page PDF that shows the info including notes #12 & #13.
