Does anyone make a good valve spring removal tool ???
Heads are on engine and I hav to remove inner springs for start up & break in and then re-install

With any luck I will only go thru this routine one time

I made my own very easily. Old stamped rocker arm ground down in bench grinder. Mounted rocker on spare rocker shaft. Clamped big vice-grips to pushrod side of ground down rocker arm. Pressurized the cylinder. Viola. Cheap is good. Free is better.

flatliner if I understand correctly you grind enough off pushrod side to get visegrip clamped on correct ?
Sounds good to me, now if i can just find an old rocker

Make an air attachment by breaking a spark plug and removing the guts then weld a mail air hose attachment to it. Do cylinders at top of compression. Rap them with brass hammer to loosen keepers and oh yes
take your pick

Mancininhas the tool as does Summit as long as they have standard rocker bolt downs. My kid has the one for BB and it works slick.I also have the ones that grab the spring and gets screwed tight. They work but takes longer and wouldnt fit with his PB booster.Rocky
