Molding Restoration - 06/15/09 05:08 PM

Someone hit my 72 Satellite 4-door in the right front (passenger side) door. It's a small dent and we're going to use a paintless dent removal company to remove the dent.
The problem is the factory door molding was damaged (repairable). I need to find someone that can straighten/polish the molding.
Or possibly does anyone know if this molding is available? The molding is about 1" wide with about 1/2" black rubber strip on it.
Anyone on MOPARTS? or any recommendations?

Thanks,

Chuck

its possible you could find that molding NOS, you'll need a part number to start the search.

Molding is just bent up a little, looking for someone to straighten it out...no tears or kinks in the surface.

ANYONE???

I've got a pair of rear deck trim panels that fit between the taillights on a 64 Fury that need to be stripped, polished, brite dipped and re-anodized and it has been an interesting search trying to find someone who does this. Just ordered a catalog from All Trim as this is the only way to get a quote from them. I've also found another company (King of Trim) who does this as well but haven't made contact yet.

Anyone have experience with either of these companies or other trim refurbishers?

Thanks,

Butch.

If it's the same molding as a 1972 Coronet I might be able to help you get another one. PM me.

I was looking for someone to redo my trunk finish panel and tail lamp bezels for my 68 GTX. Most trim guys out there wanted my first born and me to remorage the house. I found Color me chrome in PA. They did a super job on my parts and didn't kill me on price. They were very resonable. Don't get me wrong the parts aren't 100% concours perfect but they look beautiful on the car. I'm not building a 100 point show car. I'm building something fun to drive. Check out there site and decide for your self. I'm real happy with the product. I'm looking for a decent set of head lamp bezels now to send them for the car.
