MSD 6A or MSD 6AL

Just like the subject line reads... MSD 6A or MSD 6AL?

Pros?/Cons?

Is there any difference between the two besides the choice of rev limiters with the 6AL?

I'm trying to choose as I have a few boxes cluttering the place up and I need to get rid of surplus...

6al has the limiter. get it. even if you you think you need it now, you might later on. i know i wish i got the limiter now but didnt want it 15 years ago

get the 6AL with the limiter.
or better yet get the digital 6 box. there are built in retards and you can change the rev limiter by using a dials instead of chips like in the 6AL. and if i remember correctly there is mlti spark to higher rpms with it also.
