Performer RPM on 340 Dart -Stock Air Cleaner

Will a stock air cleaner allow the hood to close when using a Performer RPM manifold? (With Edelbrock AVS Carb) I had a Performer RPM on a 70 340 Duster (Demon Carb) and the hood closed using the stock air cleaner.

I am just trying to figure out if I will have issues on the Dart.

I put an Edelbrock Air Gap on my 69 GTS with an Edelbrock 650 carb and the stock air cleaner and it clears by appx 3/8"...340 motor.

Thanks for the input; I think it will clear based on my measurements but your real life results make me feel a lot better about the installation.

Yes, It will clear.

Ran a performer RPM on my 70 340 swinger and had no clearance issues you are good to go!
