1970 Valiant
That sucker is low, I cannot see under to figure out what to disassemble. What's the best way to get the front seat out of the car. Is there hardware that will separate the upper frame from the slide adjuster part?

There should be 4 nuts under the car 2 on each side. Stuff the seat belts back through the seat and pull it out the door.

I knew I could do it from the bottom, I was just thinking that maybe there was additional hardware inside that would separate th eupper track from the lower

Indeed, the tracks and the seats started life as separate entities before they were assembled. Technically, the same can be said for ALL of the pieces under your seat (lower/upper seat track halves, etc.). Some of those components can still be separated with ease, others have been tacked or otherwise made more challenging to separate as part of the manufacturing process.

You have already been advised as to the recommended and by far easiest method of removing the front seat from your car. Once you follow that path, knock yourself out with taking other stuff apart. Ignoring that advice is only going to make your job needlessly difficult.
