small block water pump

Hey smallblock folks, what kind of waterpump for steet / strip are you using ? My stock one just took a dump. Thanks

Water pumps are surprisingly pretty reliable. I've had no issues with a parts house reman(get an 8 blade) and adding an anticavitation disc. If you want more efficiency press the vanes closer to the pump body(support the front shaft end when you do) & machine the tcover so the vanes/cav disc is closer to the t cover(use washers or shorter bolts if needed).
