Looking for some one that knows of the improved clamp for the steering coupling. Does it fit over the shaft or have to be removed to be installed?

There used to be a guy with a website like www.mopar1.com or something that sold a bent wire peice that locked in the steering couple seal. The part was a chrysler part dept fix, IIRC.

I checked with my local dealer and the part number is discontinued.

There was a guy who repro'd that part and was selling them. I think he used to come on this list every once and a while. Forgot the contact info.

He posted awhile back that he had sold all that he'd made & wouldn't be making another run....
