Correct driveshaft length for A body - 05/04/09 05:58 AM

What is the correct driveshaft length for an A body with 727 and 8 3/4"? I need to get one made up.

I plan on measuring by sliding yolk into tranny, pull out 1" and measure the length but was curious at to what the stock length is?

I think 48"or 47.99. I got mine out of a 78
Dodge van type motor home(don't tell
my neighbor),the rear shaft. With that shaft
I'm using the 7290 yokes.
My Scamp/Dart has the 727 with the 8.75.
