What is the largest 15" tire you can get on the front of an A body? I was thinking either 215-65-15 or 205-70-15

Since they made A bodies from 64 till 76 you might want to narrow it down a hair for use, early or late A body?

You mean tallest or widest.
What a-body is it. Don't assume they are all equal. And when you push the limit, factory variation, past collision damage, sheetmetel changes, etc factor in.

I want the tallest tire It's a 74 duster with stock fender wells.

On my 74 Swinger, I have 235/60/15 on 15x7 cop wheels and mirada wheels. I have it lowered so the fender opening is to the top of the tread.

I have 175/80 15s on the front of the girlfriends swinger. They are on 4 1/2" rims.
