727 transmision slip yok question - 07/19/23 12:47 AM
Good day all
I have a drive shaft from a 60's c-body that I am shorting. It has an inertia ring and 1330 end yoke on the transmission end. It did not come with the slip yoke.
I found this DANA SPICER 2-3-14031X slip yoke at Dennys drive shafts. It states that it will not fit a 727 or 833.
It looks like it should fit, given the listed dimensions, see link. https://www.dennysdriveshaft.com/p1...ip_yoke_1330_series_29_based_on_30_.html
So why wont it fit in a 727?
I trust Denny's Drive shafts, mostly because other sites list it as fitting the 727.
A 7290 727 slip yoke and the 5-7437x conversion u-joint will take care of my issue, just hoping to keep it simple.
Any one have any input?
