Rear Sway Bar Links - 06/06/23 12:36 PM

Good Morning,

Installing a rear sway bat into a 73 Challenger. Having trouble finding
the end links. Are they the same as the front?

Thanks!

you may not find a listing for that specific application, it's easier to just measure the length needed and order one with the correct ends.

Here's a write up I did when trying for find sway bar links on a 74 Ramcharger with D60/D70 swapped axles and is the same thing I did when I replaced the rear sway bar links on my 70 Coronet R/T which has an old addco sway bar from the late 70's early 80's

iagree What sway bar are you using? I’m using front links from like an 1980 El Camino, the links supplied for rear sway bar kit I bought ended up being too short

Yes what Shanker wrote. When I snapped a rear end link on my '89 Diplomat Police I was never going to find another OEM one. I simply measured length and found an Energy Suspension kit with urethane bushings and replaced both sides. They are very beefy. I used black bushings but they also come in red. VERY inexpensive, and for me somewhat OEM appearing and hidden anyway.

Depends on how "correct" you want them to look.
Factory ones di not use the center spacer tubes as do the aftermarkets.

Found an article on line, a front sway bar link from a 68-69 B-Body will work.
Got a set from NAPA and worked perfectly!!

Thanks everyone.
