Stamped valve covers on TrickFlow heads? - 03/08/23 11:33 PM
I'd really like to run some vintage B/RB Direct Connection valve covers with TrickFlow heads on a street car. Has anyone run stamped covers on these heads? Is it possible? [Heads are not in my possession yet so I can't trial fit..]

Bolt hole alignment might not be great. For whatever reason the TF bolt hole location is a bit off versus the average of other heads. Other than that I think they should work. I have TF270 heads. In an older thread I posted the TF270 bolt hole locations along with some other heads.

I use the Mopar Performance cast ones without any issues.

Thanks for the replies, guys.
I guess I could slightly slot the sheet metal if hole alignment is off. I'll be using the '240' versions.

Had some stamped chrome valve covers on the 505 with the trick flow 240 heads that I sold to Dan. I think the only issue was the valve cover gaskets needed to be trimmed for clearance around the rocker shaft stands at each end?
