? nos tan distributor caps for V-8's look like ?

I am trying to determine if I have purchased a original V-8 distributor cap for my 1971 383 engine . Does anyone know what markings to look for ?

The cap I just purchased has a small round recessed circle on it that says made in the usa on top . At the base on the edge where the cap sits on the distributor is the number 16

Originals were tan, and blank with no outward visible markings of any kind
with the pt number cast on the inside.

Later replacements have the 'rotation' on the top of the cap. even later replacements have a vent on the top of the cap between the towers -technically both are wrong.

I have them both ways if you want comparison pics

Original on the right in all pics, later issue on the left. With exception to the lettering on top they are the same in color and appearence and dimensions.
Both have the same part number - 2444507 cast on the inside ribbing
