67 GTX Conv. rear window zipper problem

Took the car out last night, was a bit chilly so put the top up and was zipping the rear window in place and the portion of zipper opened behind the zipper unit that you zip up the zipper with. Now I can not unzip. Window is 1/4 closed. I don't want to force it back and was wondering what ideas you have. thanks

I gotta think that you messed up your zipper permanently..

OT here, R U supposed to unzip and lay the rear window down when you lower your vert top??

Should not be a problem to force it back. Run a bar of dry soap over it to lube it up a bit and support the seams if the top is old, just becareful.

Just like if your jacket or pants zipper opened up from the wrong side.
