Most underdash units are self contained with everything needed. Just run the hoses through the firewall to the engine components.

There should be an evaporter and fan assembly and the controls. Then just the hoses as stated above.

Is your car an original A/C car?

no my car didnt come with a/c..

so everything i need will be in the underdash unit.
Even the expansionvalve? and if so can i purchace a new valve for the unit?

I've only seen a few---10 or so--hang on units, and had one on my old 70 RR. The dash unit should be pretty much self contained, only needing hoses to the compressor, receiver--dryer and condenser. It's possible on any unit that the TXV might be a proprietary unit and difficult to find a replacement for. Keep in mine that with older units you need to be able to upgrade to modern refrigerants.

(Back "in the day" after a major overhaul, I used engine vacuum!!!! to evacuate the hang on unit and then recharging)

I just removed this from my 57 Plymouth. Pretty basic setup, AC compressor, engine brackets, condensor, evaporator, rubber lines, and under dash blower/cooler unit. Every single item is shown here. Modern versions are basically the same short of cosmetic differences.
