1963 B idler arm needed - 01/29/22 01:31 AM
I didn't think these were hard to find but one is needed to start a 2,000 mile flat tow in VIsta California. I have tried all the on-line sources I can think of.
Anybody got some ideas? Leaving in a couple days.

Wow, thanks for that. When did this become such a hard and expensive part? Gee, seems a couple years ago they were everywhere for under $50.
Time flies, right now I'm not going to drop $250, but I may change my mind.

rare parts, rock auto, carid, parts geek, carparts napa o'reilly's Now, jegs lists, but ships from manufacture. I have no faith in that in the next week. Summit is out of stock. I checked ebay, but didn't find the ones listed by Sniper. But, at 250 out of principal I am going to pass (for now). Is there any suspension parts places in Los Angles area?

Re: 1963 B idler arm needed -found! - 01/29/22 03:24 AM
The first searches on e bay showed nothing. Then sniper pointed out a part number, and now, when I went back in some showed up and I have placed an order. I don't understand why they didn't show up at first or second, or third, but should be on the way. Still, I am amazed at how "scarce" they have become.

Savoy or Dart?
Them cars be double ugly
I owned a 1962 Sport Fury that may have been a original 413 M.W. car that had a 361 in it i=when I bought it in 1969 or so, it still had the complete original M.W. exhaust system with the original monster exhaust manifolds and cut outs including original mufflers and tailpipes.
I wish I had kept until I thought about finding a original 413 M.W. motor for it and put it back to stock, I didn't know or suspect that until much later

People that specialize in Early B's like Jim Kramer and Joe Suchy can usually come up with stuff like that.

My problem is, I need it now for the flat tow. I'm still not sure it will get here as my message request for quick shipping has gone unanswered.

amazon lists 2. don't know how real they are.
amazon 1amazon 2you might be able to change shipping to where you are going if there is enough time. but not sure.
one of them shows they are in california, maybe you can call them direct.
