Was the transmission mount(Rear engine Isolator) for 727 transmission painted yellow and embossed with the word “HEMI” ?

John, so the hemi mounts were painted yellow ? Hmm, must've been something different or special about them. I assume that was a kwik way for the line workers to identify them?

Was this true through all years and body styles? And what about the embossing he asked about ? beer

What is your application?
I have had a few NOS trans mounts that were painted yellow and they were correct for 440 applications I was looking for, not just Hemi cars.

Why would there be a dimensional difference between the two, possibly metal thickness?

I have never heard of a trans mount with the word "Hemi" embossed on it. Anyone have pics of this?

I have parted out 2 motor homes with 440/727's and they both had the yellow trans mounts.

I believe the yellow mounts were a higher durometer rubber and were also used in HD applications other than the Hemi.

I agree with the above statement as I got this one from a 4 x 4 Dodge Ram from the mid 70's.

It has the same number 3410309 embossed in the rubber but no embossed YELLOW.

I have yellow transmission mount with numbers, as before on rubber, but also a “K” embossed on the inside of the steel frame.
