BumbleBee Stripe - 07/29/21 12:54 AM
I am repainting my 70 Challenger RT Vert. I'm going with Plum Crazy with a white gut. I also want to add the "BumbleBee" stripe across the rear of the trunk. Can anyone give me the technical info for the stripe placement. (dimensions, widths, etc.) I'd also need the correct color or paint code for the stripe. 0any other info or advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanx in advance guys

Rick Ehrenberg has the factory layout specs for that.
You can contact him here (he's a member) or likely find it in the Mopar Action archives.
Likely one of our members might have the schematic too; I believe it was posted a while back.
Just do a search in the box at upper right for "Challenger bumblebee"...

use the "google search" box at the top. it works way better than just the "search" box.

1970 Challenger V9_ stripes were pained before the body color. So spray the whole area, then mask the stripe area off before final paint.
(much less masking this way too)
