Clutch Bracket on Frame of 1971 E Body Pics - 12/23/20 09:45 PM
Does anyone have some nice pictures of the bracket that is welded to the frame of an E Body for the clutch bar. Wondered were the bracket is welded, on the outside of the bracket, inside of the bracket or both sides. Friend is asking me for detailed information on this but I can not get to my Challenger till later next month and even then the motor and other stuff get in the way and makes it hard for detailed pictures. So looking for pictures that the engine is out of the car so direct pictures can be taken so the welds can be seen. Thanks..

Kevin - Here are some pics from a 1 Apr 70 SPD T/A.
I felt around the aft side of the bracket and couldn’t feel any welds there. My finger is pointing to a weld on the forward side.

Thanks for those pictures they are great. The bracket was moved on the car because the motor in the car was set back into the firewall to run C/Altered. Bracket was taken off and welded on two 1/4 inch plates to get the correct level for the bracket once moved back on the frame. Thank you for posting those pictures.
