Just wanted to post that Al Debevec 715-267-7141 does a great job with K-frame mods and hemi k frame conversions.

Easy to work with, super quality and extremely knowledgeable. Knows the difference between a B and E body frame and brackets

Had this 70 V-8 K frame modified with brackets and insulators. Really impressed with the work, did a minor repair to a tear, and ensured the LCA pin sleeve that had a broken tack weld was reinstalled and welded properly.
If your doing a conversion, and have the K frame, I think this is a better option then the poly conversion brackets that have gotten pretty expensive.

Ed is DA MAN! He built my A-body Hemi k-frame and sets-up next to me at the Indy swap every year...

Did he make the brackets that bolt to the engine also, or just the ones he welds to the K frame? With the talent he obviously has, he might just be the guy that could make some of the mounts that are now abandoned since Schumaker went out of business!

Al makes everything. All you need are studs and bolts. His engine brackets were spot on like everything else he does.

The Schumacher mounts are now being made and sold by UCT Motorsports!

He even provided bolts. You just have to have studs in the block with nuts to put it together. Yes he makes it all. He has original samples of all but one super stock bracket I believe.

What Super stock bracket does he need? I may still have some 65 hemi mounts.

I assume its jig mounted when being worked on to help reduce weld induced warpage issues, so why not just at the same time, weld up all the spot welds, etc?

Yes he uses jigs specific to each model. Can straighten frame if damaged. I asked about that, and he recommended no. Said it made frame to rigid.
