Pitman arm part number

So I bought a 68 GTS 383 a few years back which the previous owner converted to power steering. Included in the sale was the original manual box with a pitman arm attached.

Is this the correct 383 A body arm? I'm currently getting ready to move so I'm clearing out a bunch of stuff and this question is being asked often. If anyone can solve this mystery it would be much appreciated.

the 2535080 comes up in 67 parts book. i looked in 68 parts book and that number does not come up. the 68 book shows 2535536 as pitman arm for 68 383 car. if car is very early build, they may have had some left over from 67 model year. hope this helps.

That's a Forging Number, not a Part Number. The Part Number you're looking for is 2835745, which fits everything but a 383".

forging numbers can also be part numbers. i have a few nos pitman arms(not this one) and the casting/forging number comes up a lot as part numbers. not all by any means.
