727 Valve Body

Will a later valve body ( non lockup ) work in a 1966 727 , thanks

Up to '70 will work properly, '71-later will fit and function but it won't work properly due to changes in the accumulator configuration.

Ok, can I take a 1979 case and put all the internals from a 1966 case into it .

Everything but the VB; again, the configuration of the accumulator limits VB interchangeability.

Ok thanks , I will put all the 66 parts into the 79 case and use the later vb.
