360 main bearing ?

360 has 2 different main bearing numbers,one is for 71 to73 and one for the other 360s.the bearings are clevites,what is the differents and will a 85 360 crank fit a 73 block?

Later bearing and block has a wider thrust surface than the early. The early bearings can be used with no issues in the later block but the later can not be used in the earlier blocks.
