Does it have a breather nipple?

Looks like the lid I had on a '69 RR 383/4-speed/AC/turquoise 330HP engine.
Flat area is clearance for AC compressor IIRC.
Had another one like it on a '70 Satellite 383/727/AC car but maybe not wrinkle finish.
Both were a long time back, photos stashed away.
Standard deal was the smaller unsilenced lid, no snorkels.
All should have a nipple for 5/8 hose to VC breather.

Probably the definitive guy on these is Rick's Garage; used to be a member here, has a website by that name.

Nick's Garage (not to be confused with the Canadian Nick's Garage, different Nick & different Garage)

And he is still a member here. up

I thought all road runners used an unsilenced air cleaner even on A/C applications?

It would be the unsilenced unless it was a California car ,or noise reduction, then and only then would it have gotten the dual snorkel I would guess .

Look in the CL/Ebay/WIW section here - there's an A4 '69 RR ad, supposedly a low-mile original.
Has the small unsilenced lid on its turquoise A/C engine.
Could indeed be a Calif thing, my '69 AC car was new in Calif.
IIRC the air cleaner & no tailpipe tips were the N97(?) noise reduction pkg for that state?
I've owned CA cars that were with and without that, so....
