black oxide kit ?

I had the old style kit from Eastwood to do a black oxide finish on bolts and other metal parts and it worked really well, and the solution stayed usable for a long time. Also the old kit you dipped teparts, the new one is sprayed on. The new kit sucks, once you mix it its only good for a few days. Does anyone have another kit, or vendor, that works well ?

I have the Caswell kit and have used for many fasteners on my 70 Charger. Highly recommended.

Watch this video. You really don't need the whole kit. Just get the pint of concentrate for under $30. Pick up some distilled water in town and use WD40 as a sealer. black oxide link
