Thanks, but I was hoping to find a new one locally....I thought Standard Ignition made one but my local parts store can't find it and I've googled with no luck...
literally just bought one on sunday from the local orielys. It is in the trailer connectors section. it is double ended, so you would have to cut off one end to wire it up. was like 4 bucks.

Unless you wanted OE I would go with the O'reillys item & any 2 wire trailer pickup of that type would work fine & if needed you can alter rotor phasing by reversing the phasing on the 2 leads when you solder em together.

Is the one you bought the same size as the distributor connector? The ones I've found at the parts store look the same but they're smaller.
I noticed that as well. The NSS wire harness uses the same 2 pin and a single pin to make the connections, the trailer plugs are 90% the same but slightly off. It will 'work' and make an electrical connection but not have the oem fit up.
