Who sells A-body wiper arm linkage bushing & retainer?

Who sells A-body wiper arm linkage bushing & retainer? - 03/16/09 02:22 AM

Any body know who sells the nylon bushing and retainer that attaches the linkage to the wiper motor on a 1970 A-body? Are they still available from Mopar and does anyone know the part numbers? If not, what's the best A/M source?

Got them at Dodge dealer in Tacoma maybe six years ago.

if i recall, i found a set for my 73 at my local napa. sold under the HELP! brand-i think made by dorman. sorry, can't recall part#. maybe ask to look at the dorman catalog at your favorite part store.

3799089 for the part number in the pic but I think 1970 takes a different bushing.

Thanks!! I'll check my local dealer and if it's a no go I will contact you.

I seem to recall there is also some sort of metal retainer clip that slips over the bushing. Anyone know if that's correct or is it just the bushing?

Oh... then you have an earlier setup, not the one I posted. Whites are sealed on top, and linkage studs simply clip on

maybe retainers you talk are like this:

complete retainers setup:
retainers setup

and maybe accomplished with what bill is ofering you ( black ones )

I redid mine last year and all it had were the black
bushing / clip ons. No other parts but it could
have been missing them. Seems to work fine without.
