Re: 1966 Plymouth Belvedere rear frame brackets

Parting out a '66 Plymouth Belvedere and came across these brackets attached to the rear frame rails near the spring perch boxes. They seem like a factory part, especially the bolts that secure them. Were these trailer hitch brackets? Anchor points for towing?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

They are the stock rear tie downs used for transporting them to the dealers

What else are you parting out from that car?

On a restoration? Yes Id put them back.

Dealer was supposed to remove them in prep.

I know that we never did at 63436.
