1969 Superbee Question

Did all 1969 Superbee's come with the quarter scoops on the side? This one has the dual hood scoops, but no side scoops....

side scoops were an OPTION on 1969 Super Bees & R/Ts

Same as mine had...

There was also a spring special with hood and side scoops painted black I believe. Dan could enlighten on this.

I have a set to put on my Bee and I'd like to. I'm just not so keen on drilling holes in the quarters without a proper template.

Mine were both 383 4-speed cars with no side scoops and the bulge hood with chrome trim. Texas cars, never in salt. Sweet old Bees, Dad towed them off and had them crushed.

They should have all come with side scoops; I love them.

I have an original scoop quarter section I cut off and kept if you need dimensions.

I'd sure like to see it and print it out, thanks. At the very least, maybe I could show them to Jack at Plum Crazy Auto in Passaic and see if he'd be willing to install them in the spring.

I installed these on my '68 Super Bee...here are the correct dimensions for installation.

Both of these have them !

There were way less ‘69 Bees ordered with side scoops option than without.

My 69 had no side scoops either.Plus was bench auto column car.Rocky
