1966 Plymouth Light Bulb Socket - 12/13/18 11:58 AM

I'm parting out a '66 Plymouth Belvedere and came across this(pics below) in a heap of small misc parts in a box in the trunk.

Is it related to this car? Courtesy light?

Thanks in advance. beer

I've taken a bunch of stuff apart over the years and can't ever remember seeing one with a spade terminal connected to it like that one has... twocents

looks like a reverse lite in the rear bumper.
The spade connector is strange.
Maybe a repair made decades ago.

The reverse lights are in the trunk lid and they had a regular spade terminal for the ground wire to plug into. The tang on that socket does not look like a terminal. 1966-67 coronets have reverse lights in the bumper with power wore only, ground is through the lamp housing to the bumper.

Here a pic of an under dash courtesy lamp. 2 wires in the top. The tabs to hold it in the bracket look the same.
