Stalls out after burn out

Sometimes in the burn out box I do a burn out and the car shuts off and have to restart and stage any ideas

ask this over in the race section with more info on your combo

Are you driving the car out of the burn out box allowing the tires to hook before stopping the car or is the engine stalling in the water box during the burn out?

What carb? What fuel pressure? Where is the float level set at? If it's a Holley based carb is there a hose connecting the bowl vents to prevent spill over?
