What is it was it ?

Just by the VIN it was a '69 RR w/ a 383. Take a minute to decode the tag.

You really got it all wrong! Too bad the car didn’t get ordered with the air grabber but t it was nicely optioned with the performance axle package.
First R6 is Scorch Red Paint
Second R6 is Scorch Red roof
X9 is black painted upper doors
H2X is deluxe black bench seat
B15 is scheduled production date of NOV 15, 1968 (corrected A=Oct to B=Nov)
A31 is for the 3.91 high performance axle package (comes with Hemi suspension, 26” radiator with fan shroud and 7 blade torque drive fan

Very nice car! What kind of shape is it in? Worth restoring if possible.

Mmmmmm.... No, MyMopar got it wrong. Thought it was odd they didn't know the paint code and I was pretty sure A31 was the axle package.

Think I'll use the link for Nicks Garage instead of MyMopar. Or go dig my little white books out in the basement.

Yes , its not too bad .

bought at auction, has had a bunch of metal work done already and a lot of new sheet metal came with it..

its in primer at my friends body shop now, it came with boxes and boxes of parts ..

and the completely wrong motor ..

Need a split bench .. missing that

Lynch Rd tag is a different format than others. They are unique and usually have to be read from bottom to top vs top to bottom (or the other way around, too early still).
