Reference for brake hose fitting sizes - 07/12/18 09:08 PM

Looking for fitting sizes for factory disc car. I switched factory discs to MP brakes discs but their rubber lines are $59 and I would rather put that kind of money to braided lines. THe calipers they use are 80-89 diplomat cast iron single piston.
I cant find a source that can tell me my stock fitting size on frame or the diplomat caliper fitting size as I would like to source these before I tear it apart.
Any ideas?

FSM has that info, but I'm 250 miles from my copy.

But if you go to RockAuto.com and look up the brake hose banjo bolt for the 80-89 Diplomat the specifications are there.

The hoses are Bendix 77221 and 77222. $5 at Rock Auto.

Thanks guys. So the hose end with the clip (body side) on my stock 67 is straight. THe one on the Diplomat is a 90°. Do you think it will still fit properly?

I would imagine that the straight end would work best in a retrofit. This is a Bendix 77047 but there's a gazillion different ends and lengths.
