71-up B b body A pilar question

Quick question...

I am working on 72 Satellite that came with a vinyl top from the factory and I would like to remove the top as I prefer the painted look. It's been many years since I had an early 70's b body so I'm a bit rusty... Are the A pillars the same on all cars? If not what is different between the Vynil top and painted cars?

71-74 B-body, 2 doors are the same.

So just to clarify, all the 71-up B body A pillars are the same regardless of vinyl top or painted top? I noticed the gutter was not caulked like the painted cars... what other differences would I have to look for to make it correct for a painted roof?

That's about it. Vinyl roof cars had bondo instead of lead on the roof to quarter seam, but that doesn't change anything appearance wise.
