Intake bottom "pan" or "plate"

I have a cast iron 1970 340 intake I'm planning on installing soon but it's missing the plate on the bottom. Is this something I can easily fabricate? Is it just a flat plate or is it stamped? If it's stamped is there somewhere I can buy a reproduction?

Most people think it's unnecessary, especially if the heat crossover is blocked.
