V10 rod bearing swap.

In the truck.It makes a noise around 2100 rpm.I think it might be a loose bearing.Think it would be OK to change it or not.Anyone have success swapping bearings and did it last.

You may remember posting on my same issue about 4 months ago. So far my rattle is completely gone. If your V10 is like mine, I think you will find that the crank journal is not round. I wanted to do the same thing but it just didn't "feel" right. So I pulled the motor out and had the crank checked. It was oval to the point that it could not be turned. I just dropped a complete crank kit in. It runs and sounds like a completely new motor.

Anyone have success doing this swap in the vehicle.
