question on a US radiator , which one to get? - 05/17/18 01:14 AM
I am getting ready to purchase a radiator for my 69 440 Charger with AC, and am wondering if I should go with the standard 3 core, the high efficiency 3 core, or a std 4 core. Has anyone used these before?
Thanks
Duane

I run US Radiators in both my Mopars, as I hate the look of aluminum radiators in old cars.
I called and told them what I was running, and they built & shipped me radiators that work very well. They look stock, but they cool a 700 hp RB and a 500hp Magnum with A/C on both.

I run the standard 3 core without any problems.

Where is the best place to buy them? US radiator told me to buy from a dealer, I will get a better price, I have found them at Year One and Classic Industries, Year One has the better price so far.
thanks

I have had great luck with their 3 core, they have a lot of nice options and knowledge on their technical side. To save shipping look on their website for a local distributor and have it shipped there and just pick it up.

Id rather see an all aluminum, TIG welded radiator in these cars than a POS Toyota-ish aluminum/plastic one like all the parts stores want to sell us these days...

I have the 4 row high efficiency copper brass, going in my 68 charger with a 572 hemi and air....should be fine for 800 hp. Wait for the classic ind 30% off for memorial weekend...that is where I got mine. Not cheap but I think its the best non oem numbers matching radiator on the market. I will never do an aluminum radiator again...
